Cropping Images for Layout

To crop an image in Adobe Illustrator you will want to copy and paste an image or photograph then draw a rectange around the area that needs to be cropped then select the image and hold shift to create the rectangle. After the rectangle has been created then you will go to the drop down link to Object and the select clipping mask/ Make. Then there will be a reactangele cropped image.
